  • Studies in which the outcomes of sexual and/or gender minority people cannot be distinguished from other samples (i.e., non–sexual/gender minority people; study describes the prevalence of sexual and/or gender minorities in the study population but does not stratify results)

  • Studies in which the primary sample is composed of health care providers

Concept
  • Studies describing outcomes or experiences along the cancer continuum: risk, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship

  • Studies in which cancer is not the primary disease or cancer outcomes are not separately reported

  • Studies exploring relation between pathology and/or etiology of cancer with sexual orientation or gender identity

  • Nonhuman laboratory studies
